It is incontrovertible and
very plain to see that Wendy Neale is an accomplished, dedicated and
creative designer. Though it is twenty years since Wendy moved from
England to America, she maintains an English love of elegance and style
but that is now combined with an American love of celebration and
exuberance.
It is Wendy’s joy to fashion
celebrations and events that truly delight all senses. And yet these
glorious occasions are crafted with such apparent ease that it is
possible for all participants to breathe and to enjoy the special moment!
When you meet Wendy you will
at once be aware of her charm, her attention to detail and her personal
warmth – your relationship with Wendy will never be one simply of
business details.
Newport, Rhode Island is
undeniably one of the social event capitals of America – it is here that
Wendy made her mark and received praise and thanks in abundance. It is
not surprising that she is still often asked to return!
DEP Events and Blackstone
Caterers was the company required to organize and create very special
events in Newport – weddings in the renowned and historic mansions,
private events of the rich and famous and unique occasions often with
international themes and guests. Here Wendy was able to display her
skills at flower design, table arrangements and overall planning.
At about
the same time Wendy was asked to work for the Ron Alose Interior Design
Group (RADG). This provided endless opportunities for Wendy to prove her
abilities to work with vendors, contractors, demanding customers and
always to obtain the desired goal at the right time.
And just three insights into
this truly remarkable woman…
In 1992, with some hesitancy,
Wendy began working at the long established and much respected
Handicraft Club in Providence, Rhode Island. In a short while Wendy
became the most popular tutor and was continually asked to increase the
number of her classes. Flair for design, patience and encouragement for
those she tutored are Wendy’s hallmark characteristics – she loves
meeting people and setting them at ease
In 1996, having returned from
long stay in the Middle East, Wendy almost single-handedly produced a
“Middle East Party” (complete with belly-dancer) for two hundred people
that for weeks was the talk of Newport – she is an
accomplished chef and
caterer.
And in 2006 she
single-handedly completed the
interior design of her home which won
accolades on the Centre City Open House in 2007 – she has an eye for colour and design and accepts any new challenge with verve and
confidence
Since arriving in
Philadelphia in 2004 Wendy has already designed weddings and other
social events – in 2009 she begins this enterprise in earnest… be one of
those who will benefit from this amazing woman’s personality, skills and
experience.
P.S. Wendy is married to
Alan
Neale who is currently Rector of the prestigious Church of the Holy
Trinity on Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia. Wendy has often been engaged to
ensure that all things go well on the day of the wedding.
